About our Computer Laboratory
Our spacious and modern computer lab ensures a comfortable learning environment for students to polish their computer skills, something that gives them a strong foundation as they progress to high school.
The lab is overseen by a skilled full-time computer teacher who is on hand to guide students with early learning computer skills.

About Our Students Health
Children who are unwell at school or suffer minor injuries are treated by a qualified full-time nurse in the school Sick Bay. The sickbay is fully stocked with the necessary drugs and first aid equipment to ensure that all emergencies are dealt with in the best possible way at the school. Parents are informed of any serious injury and are contacted if a doctor or hospital visit is advised.
It is imperative that the school has upto-date emergency contact details for all children on file. We also ask that children who are unwell are not sent to school as they are unable to learn and may pass infection to other children and staff members.
Our School Library
No one ever imagined a community like ours having a state-of-the-art library like the one seen here. Much appreciation to Marriane and Jeremy Rusk’s family for this great gift to MJS. Books are truly treasures everyone should look for. Previously, this was impossible to even think about. This facility now soothes the spirit, educates the mind, and positions students to explore the wonders and beauty hidden in books.
At Matuwa Junior School School, reading as a skill is given a lot of attention. Learners at all class levels are taught the basic reading skills which they must exhibit during the reading sessions.
These are run by Competent and well-trained full-time librarians with inviting faces. The library has a kid’s corner and an adult reading section with a variety of books to help meet the learning goals. We are still open to receiving more donations of local books as well
Our School Garden
A natural space, such as the school garden, offers these possibilities independently of age and class level. In the school context, natural spaces on school grounds provide a personal encounter with nature and living organisms such as plants, animals, and fungi.
These interactions with nature and the possibility to become active in the garden are combined with social and emotional skills. This is connected with the development of pupils’ attitudes, values, beliefs, and self-perceptions
Safe Water Facility
To ensure our pupils are health we mind the water they drink hence setting up a water purification facility because a health student equals a healthy Mind.
